When you think of audio editors, you expect to have access to a tune splitter and joiner, volume controller, audio effects like distortion, diffusion, phaser, etc.; with the help provided by these built-in tools you might get the results you need.
Shuangs Audio Editor is a simple application that hasn't came out as an efficient solution to editing audio files and actually disappointed me with its lack of utilities.
Many features I look after when trying an audio editor were definitely missing, from an integrated equalizer to a list of sound effects. Plus, it took way too long to decode the selected tune and apply changes like fade in or fade out.
The only things about this program that caught my attention in a good way were the existence of a built-in audio player (a pretty common utility) and the fact that the program allowed me to save the input file to various audio formats (MP3, WAV, WMA).
And even though you won't have to pay anything to use Shuangs Audio Editor, I still consider you can find better solutions to audio editing that will offer you a higher number of configurations and high-quality results.
